Sound familiar?
Every stake runs on the faithful effort of busy people. Stakesauce is the quiet system underneath — it remembers every step, nudges the right person at the right moment, and never loses track of anyone.
It emails the right person, with the actual ask
No more "did the bishop ever see that?" When an item reaches a stage, the leader who owns it gets an email that says exactly what's needed — "Approve John Smith for Elder" — with one button that opens that exact item. Readable from a lock screen on Sunday morning.
The whole pipeline on one board
Callings and ordinations move across a board from Recommended to Complete. Anything stuck, you see it. Anything waiting on you, it's in your queue. The status meeting becomes a glance.
Releases travel with the calling
Extending a calling to someone who already has one? Approve the release right there — it rides along with the new calling all the way to the appointment, so nobody ends up quietly holding two jobs. (Unless you decide they should — that's a button too.)
And that's just the callings part.
Stakesauce quietly runs the rest of the stake's people-work too.
Stake dashboard
The funnel, membership numbers, release alerts, and who's served longest — the health of the stake on one screen, before the meeting starts.
Meeting agendas
Presidency and council agendas that live next to the pipeline, so the discussion and the data are in the same room.
People & tenure
Every member, their calling, and how long they've held it. Import your list from LCR as a CSV and you're running in minutes.
Leadership directory
Every position in the stake and who holds it — linked to their account, so notifications always reach the actual human in the chair.
My Queue
Each leader signs in to a short list of exactly what's waiting on them. Not the whole stake's business — just theirs.
Notification coverage
See every stage, who it notifies, and — crucially — where mail would go to nobody. No more silent gaps.
Good stewardship, also of data.
Membership information deserves the same care as everything else you've been entrusted with.
Role-based access
Leaders see what their calling entitles them to see — tiers and roles gate every screen.
Ward scoping
Ward leaders work in their ward. Stake leaders can see across; nobody else can.
Confidential stays confidential
Items marked confidential never generate emails and stay off shared views.
Your data is yours
Import it, export it, delete it. No ads, no analytics resale, no funny business.
Simple, flat pricing
No per-seat counting, no surprises — every leader in the unit is included. Start with your ward; move up when your stake joins.
Ward
One ward — your bishopric, your callings, your ordinations.
Where most people start. Upgrade to Stake any time.
Start freeStake
Every ward in your stake, plus stake-level callings and the high council.
One price for the whole stake — every ward, every leader.
Start freeEvery stake starts with 30 days free — no credit card. Cancel anytime; your data stays yours to export, and stays readable even if you stop paying.
Less tracking down. More shepherding.
Questions leaders ask first
- What is Stakesauce?
- Stakesauce is a web app for stake presidencies, bishoprics, high councilors and clerks in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It tracks every calling, release and ordination from the first recommendation through sustaining and recording, and emails the right person when it is their turn to act.
- Is this an official Church product?
- No. Stakesauce is an independent tool built by a stake leader. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and it does not connect to LCR or Church systems.
- Who is it for — a ward or a stake?
- Both. A bishopric can run one ward on the Ward plan; a stake presidency can run every ward on the Stake plan. Either way the stake presidency, high council, bishops and clerks all see the same pipeline.
- How much does it cost?
- Flat pricing: $10 a month for one ward, or $50 a month for a whole stake. Every new stake starts with a free 30-day trial and no credit card is needed to begin.
- Is member information safe?
- Each stake's data is isolated from every other stake, every write is checked against the signed-in leader's position, confidential items never generate email, and only the leaders you invite can sign in.
